Torta del Casar DO

Originally crafted in Casar de Cáceres from raw sheep’s milk, wild thistle rennet, and salt. The vegetable rennet makes it tend to flatten, taking the shape of a torta de pan, hence its name. It is distinguished by its incredibly creamy texture, boasting a rich and melty character, and features a delicate, thin rind.
